Face’s always sold out All Night series is going down a storm in Birmingham after events with Apollonia and Heidi, and now it’s the turn of Maya Jane Coles, Cassy, Will Saul, Midland and Bicep to play at The Rainbow Warehouse in a huge rave up on March 29th.
This party will also be the launch of the new and improved Rainbow Warehouse. There are some big changes to the place including brand new mezzanine level with viewing platform which looks out onto main area of the warehouse. New rooftop terrace space attached to the mezzanine level with views over the city ready for summer. New Toilets. New Cocktail bar with seating & new main bar. Brick walls have been sandblasted to give the warehouse a fresh feel (no longer painted black). New Sound & Lighting.
One of thebiggest names in underground house, Maya Jane Coles is fresh off the back ofher DJ Kicks mix from 2012 and the release of her debut album is just aroundthe corner. Whether crafting lush and melodic deep house delights for Hypercolour or 2020Vision, or crafting more bass driven work as Nocturnal Sunshine, Maya is a unique voice in electronic music.
And so to next headliner, Cassy… a regular in the best Berlin clubs, as well as places like fabric, she is an upstanding member of the deep house community who has mixed it up for Cocoon and Panorama Bar in thepast. Her sets are cultured things, much like her productions on her own labels and others like Perlon, and it’s for that reason that she is so in-demand.
As those two ladies play in the Warehouse, The Garden will take a house bent, with Aus and Simple boss Will Saul playing with label stalwart and uk house innovator Midland, as well as another pair who have released on Aus, pumping house duo Bicep. Between these acts they have played every club and festival worth its salt, and are as influential on their DJing peers as they are loved by true heads everywhere.
