Coldtap Recordings was born out of Essex England and fronted by Norman H & Adam Carter from Vinyl Rhythm Records shop in Southend-On-Sea, Essex, UK. The label ran from late 2000 through til early 2005. Supported by high profile dj's such as Sasha, John Digweed, Carl Cox, Tiesto, Laurent Garnier, Lee Burridge, Chris Fortier, Jimmy Van M, D-Fuse,Deep Dish (Dubfire & Sharam), Anthony Pappa, Nick Warren, Dave Seaman, Paul Oakenfold, James Zabiela (included Stripped Inc "Chrome - New Bass Edit" on his BBC Radio One Essential Mix 2004), Hernan Cattaneo featured Gary Dubbs "No More Ghosts" on Perfecto presents South America (2002), Sander Klienenberg in 2001 featured Anterra "Distance" on his award winning BBC Radio One Essential Mix and in the same year featured Hidden "Krystal" on his "Global Underground Nu Breed" compilation.
The labels vaults have been raided by strippedmuzikclub head honcho Norman H who has selected the best of the labels back catalogue for this Selected Works compilation.
