What is the best software to convert opus to mp3? This is such a hassle.

VLC media player can convert opus files easily enough. https://www.videolan.org/vlc/download-windows.html

How to convert opus file to mp3:

Open VlC media player, click Media, then Convert / Save button.

      Convert.jpg

Next click Add button (1), browse to where the opus file is located and click Convert / Save (2).

      Add file.jpg

Next create a new profile (3), choose Encapsulation MP3 and on the Audio codec copy the settings (4) and save the new profile as 320kbps mp3. Click Browse button (5) and rename the file you want to convert with the file extension *.mp3 and click Start.

      Profile.jpg

VLC media player will then start the encoding process. It shouldn't take long, depending on how good your computer's CPU is.

When VLC media player finishes encoding the new mp3 file will be in the folder that you specified in step 5. That's all there is to it.
