I always check the bag when I go through the drive thru which is not very often. I have been burnt in the past way to many times.

I never go through the drive thru. I feel that drive thrus should be eliminated all together. People who are that lazy to get their asses out of the car for 2 minutes and walk into the place shouldn't be eating fast food.

I eat fast food maybe once every 3 months, and when I do I never check the bag. Sunday night I went to a friend's for dinner and bought some soda, beer, ice cream, tortillas, and rice or some stupid shit. receipt was 30 bucks. Later that night when I was dividing it up to split with a buddy, I noticed I was charged twice for the ice cream ($10)... I never would've caught it if my buddy weren't buying the beer.

Ended up going back there on the way home and getting a second box of ice cream to avoid dealing with refunds

It's not laziness per se, I was with my grandmother who is in a wheel chair. It only takes about 15 minutes to get her out of the car and into the chair so I guess I should've just sucked it up and taken her inside. Then there's the other 15 minutes to get her back into the car when we're leaving. Oh well, you're right.
