another vote for phil thompson... i prefer his sets at bedrock london to bedrock brighton though... a bit deeper i think

some people really don't like phil at warmup but personally i think he's bang on the money. look around the main room at bedrock an hour into his set and the floor will be filled, everyone will be moovin and groovin but not jumping about bigtime... perfect warmup set, especially when you're warming up for the likes of diggers

Nice to see Phil getting some votes. He's also making some good music these days.

I think a good warmup dj gets the crowd loosened up, sets the mood and, plays a good set that builds into the headliner.. but doesnt try to overshadow the head liner.
DJ Three opened for Sasha twice when he was in Tampa recently (december '03 and Feb '04) and it was a very nice start to the night.

Depends on the night, who is coming up next, the crowd, so I don?t really have a favourite.

A good warm-up dj is someone who can read the crowd, and build a great atomsphere ready for who is on next and get the dancefloor moving.

Definatly Three rocked it, especially at the Feb 04 show...I can remember his last record before sasha came on was the Floyd song Hey You....

He was playing some mean tracks and it set sasha off great.
