agreed, as long as it sounds good and the dj doesn't try to claim he/she spun it live when it was really done on the computer.

can't wait to hear this set!

It`s all about the music... and not how or where it is done.

    IMO of course

Can't thank you enough for posting this set. It's excellent seems to have found a nice home in my cd player.

I absolutely love 'Moonburn' from you. Especially the remix. I find myself playing it quite often. D/Ling now.

No offense taken.. Music should be about choice, which is one of the ideas I try and get across.. (i.e. that's why I play a lot of things most people might not have heard..)

About Ableton though, this mix sounds pretty similar to the non-Ableton mixes I've done.. In other words, most of what I did could have been done live.. The only thing I wouldn't have been able to do if I hadn't used Ableton is some of the echos and reverb FX because I don't have external FX.. There's several older non-Ableton mixes by me floating around Emule if anybody uses it..

right at 55 minutes is a combination of 'freek' by the flaws (the ewan pearson mix) and 'espresso' from gabriel ananda.. most of the music is actually ananda, but i looped the little 'freek!' vocal and used it in the background for a while..

75 minutes is a combination of 'give me your disease' by hakan lidbo (which is on that '10 years of pokerflat' release) and 'flow control' by misc on sender.. the sorta housy part is the lidbo track and the one coming in with the rippy driving, techno-ish sound is the misc one.. the misc. track is playing alone by about 75:55, so you can probably tell if that's the one you mean at that point..

there's remixes of 'flow control' and the original release.. this version is the one from the original release..

that label sender is very good.. they do get a bit 'out there' at times, but it's one of my favorites right now.. holden used a jake fairley track from the sender label on his balance mix-cd..

Very ecclectic! I like it, little housey, little dark, little airy all in one. Nice job bro!
