yeah man, em:t rules.. it's a treasure trove of intros and interludes and all kinds of stuff.. that lucid dreams one has some really cool ambient monologue type tracks..

i've really been into ambient for a long time, so at some point i've been toying with the idea of doing about a 4 hour mix that goes from about an hour of ambient, into laid back house, into harder dance music, all the way into techno, and then down into groovy kinda house at the end..

maybe if i'm ever well-known enough i'll do it since people will listen once they've heard of me, but being a nobody i feel a bit like people will say, "damn, a 4 hour mix from some joe schmoe? i'm not wasting bandwidth on that.. "

I know its a bit late but Samer from Pangea is broadcasting a new hour-long mix by me today at about 4pm Eastern (about 9pm UK time I guess) on his eccentricbeats.com show.. ( http://www.eccentricbeats.com )

This mix is just an hour long mix, so it is a bit more to the point, but 100% different..

The already infamous Holden dub of Britney is in this mix, which didn't really need more FX or manipulation but I did a little more to it anyway..

I'll post a cue file for it, if anyone wants one, since it'll fit on one CD..

It may be a while before I do another mix (a month or two) because I've gotta finish a couple remixes and my first original tracks since like two years ago..

Incidentally, if you check out the new mix, try and imagine you're in a dark, smoky, warehouse club.. There's something incredibly subliminal that is happening in that mix.. I mean - I'm kind of biased, but if you allow it to, it sorta connects into your brain in ways that may be illegal someday..

Well first of all hello Kelly, you are one hell of a nice guy and you are the reason I shop at essentialgroove.com soo much. You have always been super helpful to me and you are one of the few people who take the time to email me back when I send you messages. I am a huge fan of moonburn and snake and now, this set also. Very nice track selection and I appreciate your effort to use tracks that not too many people have heard. Keep this up man, you certainly have my attention if you put out any new mixes or tracks. Thanks again for sharing this.

i was curious about the one made with ableton, but sounds just like a normal set.. well, a good set, but didn't notice anything different to one made with cdjs or 1200s.
i should listen to it couple more times probably
