Anyone know of any good micro-house stuff. I'm looking for more different types of dance music to play early on in my sets. Something to slowly get people into the dancing mood.
I know Kompakt is a good label, now I just need some more.

and a fucking shitload more... im not that great with labels, but go to discogs and check the labels these guys are on, and you are set
music is music. But good music always stands out and does not need a label. It has gotten a little ridiculous on how many different genre & sub genre of electronic music there are. What ever happen to the day where a good track did not need to be label as long as it made you dance. It was good.
IMO this is a subgenre that requires a label. My pet peeve is with people who label DJs as playing a particular genre. For instance, all of those people that bellyache about Digweed playing 'electro' or 'tech house'. Eff that ess. But how are you as a DJ (ie Jeffrey Collins) supposed to find out what labels and/or artists put out a particular sound unless you attach some sort of label to it?
Jeffrey's post would've sounded more like a retard at a Cosmology and Astrophysics convention had he worded it like "I'm looking for the sound that's EDM but it has these little noises but not too much, but not as much of those other noises and sounds as the other music of its type but......." I don't like sub-subgenre labels as much as the next guy, but sometimes a little labeling is necessary.
A good shower head and my right hand - the two best lovers that I ever had.
check out this site http://www.kompakt-mp3.net/ imo the best site for minimal stuff (mp3s)
browse the back catalogue to get a list of some labels which are distributed by kompakt.
