well a lot of people I have known get pissed off when they worked a bunch of overtime or something like what happened to you. the thing with that is you suddenly moved for that week into a higher tax bracket.

jenks is soo right on this one, starting your own corporation...incorporating yourself is a great thing to do, THAT is the secret the rich have on their side.

I suggest you go check out a book called Rich Dad, Poor Dad. You will learn a heck of a lot about money and they way things go with it.

With Incorporation I think it might be a self employed thing,
but who says you can't start a Mobile DJ or recording studio.
I'm a tv tech geek (self employed) bought all my gear then
wrote it off, all you have to do is rent it out once and there you go.
But being self employed you have to pay all you own SSI and
all that other crap so if you don't buy a bunch things, the govt.
lights you up all the same. Down with Uncle Scam.

I really want to start a lounge/club here in Madison WI.

Madison has a severe lack in this type of venue. I would like to change that. Any advice for a newb?
