**Note: We are archiving all of our shows. As soon as they are available online you will know.

    This Week's Guest:
"Evil" Eddie Richards (Dy-Na-Mix / Wiggle (Fabric), UK)

It has been a very busy time for Eddie Richards, dance music's quintessential pioneer and "Britain's godfather of house and techno" (Mixmag). One of the first DJs to champion house back in the mid 8O's & one of the UK's original mix DJs residing at London's Camden Palace, voted 'best club in the world', (R.M.) Eddie became a key figure in a new music and cultural movement soon to explode worldwide. After playing at such influential and original underground clubs as Clink St. & Heaven in London and Manchester's Hacienda, he went one to headline legendary 'pay parties' Sunrise. Energy. and Helter Skelter among countless others. Remix and production work led to the release of club classics; 'Acidman' in '88 which hit National Top 20, followed by other chart topping remixes of Ralphi Rosario, Orbital and The Shamen. Since the mid 80's he has been included in virtually every book, documentary and film on the dance culture and sought after all over the world for his flawless mix of deep bass driven techno with soulful & tough tribal house, a format he has always maintained, and has led him to be widely regarded as the pioneer of 'tech-house'.

Last year Eddie launched a new label through Prime distribution called Lunar Tunes; with 4 releases to-date, including his own Kodetrax EP, Kings of Tomorrow, Sci-phi (Pure Science) & D?Ranger. He has completed an exclusive track for the 1999 Muzik Ericsson Dance Awards, and has several forthcoming releases due this spring through End Recordings, Swag Records, Crayon & Lunar Tunes in the UK & SoCo Record in the USA. He is due to release a deep house mix album "Is This Music?", (originally aired on Universe TV via Music Choice in 12 countries across Europe); which is due out in April through San Francisco based 'By the People' and is currently working on a mix CD as part of a series through London's Eukatech records.

Having gained major following in North America, among other places, Eddie Richards has recently been touring extensively throughout the U.S.A. and Canada, Asia, including China, Hong Kong, The Philippines, Malaysia & Singapore & several dates across Australia & New Zealand.

Besides his long standing residency at Wiggle, London's best known true underground parties, Eddie is promoting regular ?Lunar? events featuring dynamix DJ's & guests, spinning monthly for Subterrain @The End - Britain's 'Best Underground Club' (1999 Muzik Awards) & bi monthly at Wiggle at Fabric in London.

In June 1990 Eddie Richards founded dy-na-mix, the first ever DJ agency, nurturing his vision of a 'global dance network' & is now celebrating Ten Years of service to the House Music underground. Upon the release of his forthcoming material 'Evil' Eddie Richards is setting out on a tour of the world continuing his mission to spread 'good music' across the galaxy.
