went for a wedding, went to AC for the bachelor party, ate at Pat's and Geno's and I have to say Pat's was better, but made my shit stink for a week after.

the wedding was at some mansion north of philly, some place where T.O. has rented the place a couple times to party it up. i was hoping i saw T.O. so i could give him a swift kick in the nuts, but wasn't fortunate enough to have that opportunity.

Going to have to disagree one that one, I always prefered Pats but one night me and Randall Jones did a side-by-side comparo. He got Pats, I got Genos, both cut in half, we agree Genos was better.

I have a theory on Philly Cheesesteaks, and it hold true for New York pizza as well. Everyone is always talking this and that about who is the best, one is better than the other, blah blah blah. I believe there is no one best cheesesteak in Philly, nor is there any one best slice in NY.

What characterizes these places is that you can walk in anywhere and get a fucking fantatic steak/slice. I swear I've been in some off the beaten path shitholes in Philly that have served up a steak that easily hangs with Jims/Pats/Genos, same for NY, 4:30am god knows where, and the slice from the random joint you just happened upon is tip-fucking-top.

The farther you get from these two cities, the less likely you are to find anything even remotely as good. Fortunately for me, where I live in NJ you can find both good Cheesesteaks and pizza, although not everone does it right, if you know where to go, it is nearly as good as the real thing. We also get Yengling sixers for $4.89!!!
