Have you tried simply copying an installation of Winamp (the directory it's installed in) onto your work computer's desktop?

I have no admin rights and I run Trillian, Soulseek, Winamp, Opera, Firefox and a host of other standalone programs from My Documents It's only programs that need to be specifically installed into Program Files or Windows folder that I can't run

[edit: Oh, and when you run these programs and they try to change the file associations, that probably wouldn't work 'cos that involves writing to the Windows registry which requires admin rights. But you don't need file associations anyway as long as you manage to get the programs to run]

I got pics and video. But I will upload them in the morning. I need to smoke this nice phat joint and just close my eyes and replay the amazingness in my head.

Eg. If you have Winamp installed on your home computer, go into C:\Program Files\, find the Winamp folder, copy that onto a flash drive and transfer it to My Documents on your work computer.

Or zip up that folder into one file, email it to yourself at work, create a Winamp folder in My Documents and unzip the file into that.

Trial and error, it should work 'cos Winamp is pretty much a standalone program.

Firewall blocking the port that Winamp stream uses? I'm not sure what port Winamp uses for streaming.
