Have you tried simply copying an installation of Winamp (the directory it's installed in) onto your work computer's desktop?
I have no admin rights and I run Trillian, Soulseek, Winamp, Opera, Firefox and a host of other standalone programs from My Documents It's only programs that need to be specifically installed into Program Files or Windows folder that I can't run
[edit: Oh, and when you run these programs and they try to change the file associations, that probably wouldn't work 'cos that involves writing to the Windows registry which requires admin rights. But you don't need file associations anyway as long as you manage to get the programs to run]
