Vegas Dance Nightlife?

going for the first time over turkey day and was wondering if anyone has been to a local smaller club or lounge?

not really interested in the bigger clubs filled with the 50 yr old shiny shirt oakey lovers trying to impress a rundown hooker. so we didn't know if there was any other options, but wanted to check out them out if there were...

anyone have or hear of any good experiences lately?

monday - foundation is the place to go...its slowed down a bit, not much hype as of late but sill fun tuesday - pure for sure, go to the terrace and see faarsheed ([mn] is hosting a set by him!! tuesday afterhours - teatro by that time you are so fucked up it doesn't really matter where you are. wednesday- tangerine is

ice is pretty coo, but its definately a mainstream "silver shirt" club imo... donald glaude plays there every friday - good times guaranteed. the rest of the clubs i went to were on strip... again "silver shirt" clubs imo, pure @ caesars, risqé @ paris, i forget which other ones...

My advice would be to find out what club is having "service industry night". Drinks will be cheaper, the people will be local and the atomosphere better. On any night of the week, some club will be hosting one of these events.

On another note, I was at Tabboo (MGM Grand) and it was pretty cool. Not so much a club as a lounge. You do have to dress sharp to get in, but it was all beautiful people on the insides. They had these big concrete tables whith a light shinging down on the them. If you touched the table and then took your hand away, a shadow was left behind, or the table with show water on it, and you touched the table ripples would form. It was very cool. It would have been even better if my glass of Jameson didn't cost $13.00

I was in Vegas last week and thought Mix at THEHotel at Mandalay Bay was cool. A lounge with an awesome view of the strip. It's all the way up on the 50 something floor.

Tabu as mentioned is small and really nice inside. One of the few places that doesn't seem to play hip hop.

You already missed the only good night at a Vegas club
this year.
Sasha at Ice.
Weekends here are meant for finanical exploitation
by the mostly casino ran nightclubs.
If you like the T word New Years will be your best bet.
Otherwise, Mon night Godspeed at Foundation Room: Mandalay Bay
Tues: RA Sushi across the street from the Wynn.
Wed-Thurs. load up on LSD and just walk the strip
Fri-Sat: Ice, then Drai's to OD on vocal house music
Or just apply Wed-Thurs to entire stay and attempt to swim
from one side of the Bellagio fountains to the other during the water show
