Exploits have been found for Sony's rootkits are being exploited by viruses.

man... sometimes i think it's better off not knowing some things. but to the earlier discussion in this thread about copyrighted stuff.. as much as it is protected, one can most likely find such a way to copy that cd with all the protected stuff on it, and maybe keep it away from computer.. they still copy overprotected games like not a big deal.
convert youtube to mp3 and visit savefrom and my all new underground music radio and also check out soundcloud mp3 downloader site i made

if I go out and buy a CD and it fukks up my computer by installing some bullshit deep into the system, i will never buy a cd again.

uhmm as posted earlier in a link to http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/technology/4424254.stm

"Artist list ..... The list includes popular artists such as Natasha Bedingfield, Celine Dion and Amerie . ....So far Sony BMG has not released a list of how many CDs are protected or how many have been sold. It has only said that "about 20" titles are protected with the controversial program."

Just wondering if it's all crap pop artists, why has this become such a big issue specifically on a Prog music board? I understand the implications that Sony has caused... let's just boycot the fuckers.

FUCK SONY, FUCK BMG, FUCK RIAA... thank haven for internet....

As some have said - glad most of my purchses are electonic music or artist direct.

I'm sure it's only a matter of time before there is a lawsuit or somebody comes up with good removal software.
