"Someone to look out for in the future..." according to John Digweed, New Orleans native Blake Jarrell has seen his share of ups and downs in the last two years. Losing production partner Adam "Starkid" Spears in the summer of 2004 and now losing his hometown of New Orleans, Blake's bad luck is quite evident. Pressing on in the face of tragedy, Blake still manages to balance a full time music business major via Loyola University, a new internship with PURE Promotions in Chicago, a management position at everyone's favorite blue and yellow video store, production efforts, and DJing. How does he do it all without going nuts? Whoever said he wasn't?
