I guess the will to improve the situation must first and foremost be present in the people whom it concerns. A government can create the right circumstances, but changing the mentality of such a group is rather difficult, though not impossible I guess...

The remedy? I have no fucking idea...that will involve some pretty specialized sociologic knowledge i'm afraid.

@ Srbbnd: Sorry to hear about that mate...I've had mostly very positive experiences with the French, but then again: I guess they hate you as much as you them, lol.

@Bart: yes, Chirac should be fucking persecuted for his fraud as the mayor of Paris, and the French are indeed to simply anti-British to be taken serious at a number of points
