Yao & Garrick present.Filth008 | Ken Dignon
4-6pm NYC | 9-11pm LON | 10-12pm AMS | 11-01am TLV
As some may know, I'm taking over duties on Filth for a few months while Yao takes care of other business. He'll be back soon, but in the meantime I hope you get a kick out of this month's show. Ken Dignon, hailing from New York, will be serving us our entree tonight after I delight you with a fresh appetizer I made to open the first 80 minutes of Filth 008. See Ken's Bio below. Hope you guys enjoy.

Ken Dignon :
Music has always been an influential part of my life. Starting back on Long Island, NY were I was born and raised. Brought up on everything from the heavy rocking sounds of Led Zeppelin to the soulful Al Green. My Mother who started my passion for music at an early age covered almost all bases. I have always found myself drawn to electronic music over the years. Always the outcast growing up listening to bands like Depeche Mode and OMD, while most of my friends took to Motley Crew and Poison.
I started spinning in 1998 after living in Florida for a while. I was stationed in Jacksonville with the Us Navy. Drawn to the club scene which at the time was at its peak in north Florida, frequenting many of the great clubs like Simons and Firestone. I had the opportunity to have watched some of the Great DJ’s that passed through. I watched religiously.
Before moving to Atlanta in 2002, I regretfully sold all of my records and decks. Then I became friends with Garrick Ulrich who lured me back in to the music with his impressive sets. Once again I felt the need to be a part, to take control, and put together music that represents what I’m feeling. It’s been like riding a bike sort of… sometimes the bike has flat tires and a squeaky chain, but I’m getting back to where I used to be. I hope you all enjoy.
