Hey guys and gals,
Just like to share some pics with you from our honeymoon. We started out in clearwater for 4 nights, st pete's for 5, orlando for 2 and then last but not least NYC for four nights. We had the best time and met some really great people.
Clearwater was beautiful. As we had a pretty hectic few days with the wedding and all it was exactly the place we needed to chill out and settle in the holiday. We didnt really do much there apart from eat and drink. The food was GREAT! We hired a convertable so we drove in to tampa a couple of times for the outlets.
St petes was excellent aswell. about 45 mins away from where we were staying and also very chilled out. we stayed in the don cesar there and we were right beside the resedential part of of st petes which was really cool and chilled out. Everyday we ate breakfast in this place called the sea horse and the servants wore these little hot pants right out of the 80's but dont get excited I didnt see one servant under 40!!! They love their 80's music round here these parts!!!
Orlando was where the excitment began. Unfortunately we only had 2 nights so didnt get to go downtown. We got a 2 day pass for universal and headed down to international drive on our last night. Sadley didnt get to hook up with ska but hopefully next time. Loved Orlando, very different to clearwater and pete's, it was more, whats the word, modern!!!!
New York was the best fun. I was expecting exactly what I saw but I didnt expect the city to be what it is and was. its hard to put in to words, if you've been there you know what I mean. The buzz in the city, the atmosphere, the people, I've been lucky enough to do a lot of travelling with my job and IMO its the best city in the world. The hightlight in NYC was saturday at BED. We went to Burridge and met loads of dead sound people and had a blast with them. I dressed up as an escapted convict(a long with half the club) and sarah was a police woman or ban garda as we say in Ireland. We ended up back in Erik from groovefire's appt in manhatten till like 6 in the morning or something drinking these amazing coctails his wife was making for us. Great night. Hey Miketopo where were you dude I was hoping youd come say hello hope you had a good night man.
