Underworld have released their latest project - ONLINE.

Lovely Broken Thing...

Head over to www.underworldlive.com and you can purchase their new "album" online in MP3 format. Comes with artwork, photos, and music. 5 quid.

They say they are exploring new ways to release material they've been playing with and want to get it into consumers hands faster than it would take than going through a multinational (corporate behemoth).

If you've not heard any of their recent stuff - it's definitely underworld, with some nice twists. Sort of upbeat, breaky, and yet... with that techno-ish underworld touch.

i agree - this is definitely the way forward. i'm tired of the big music labels not only screwing customers, but screwing their artists as well.

well they arent the first artist to release albums thats for sure ... i know that pearl jam started releasing live albums on their website back in early 2000 but with the big labels screwing both the artists and consumer over big time im sure more artists would follow suit and release their music directly to the consumer online
