good software to record live radio

hey, this is more like a question...
do you guys know some good software for radio ripping? i've personally tried a few free ones or promo-demo-versions of other soft, and nothing seemed anything but usable. maybe some pro advise on shareware? thanks!

Well not sure fo other but Total Recoder is really good for that. My friends and I do it every weekend with some of the DJ shows here in NYC.
