Oh, and I'm a Jets fan, so I know about football miseries. Oh, and I have a 4-6 and a 3-7 record in my 2 fantasy leagues this year.

I'm no expert on electro or tech or whatever you want to call it as I've used the labels (with like) added on the end to describe the sound. What I do think is worth pointing out though is the record stores themselves are pushing the current sound as electro as well. So who is the authority on labeling stuff? My guess would have been the labels/distributors since it needs to be catagorized in order to sort the trance from the house etc.

I'm not trying to argue, i'm asking a genuine question. Who do we trust if even the people pushing the music are labeling it as such?

                    Re: Osamu M on kissssssss

Yeah but were talking about places like Release not Circuit City. Its even surprising they carry Sasha.

I guess the true test would be if you told me about some great track and told me to go to my local record shop, what section should I be looking under?

Record stores go by labels, at least most. I hated that at first, but I love it now.

i wasnt really directing that AT you, just the whole electro and what is and isnt thats all.. sorry.. i have mates that play electro from the days of way back in the early 90's. i have posted a link on here a few times to some electro sets, and it just goes unnoticed.

                            Re: Osamu M on kissssssss

I regret what i said...uncalled for comments based on his kiss mix alone.

The unfortunate thing is many of us dont get to hear alot of what djs play unless we see them play live. Radio sets like kiss mixes are all we have to get to know the dj.

I am sorry for my negative outburst...I think alot of it had to do with my mood... Osamu is an excellent producer/dj and just because his most recent kiss mix didnt feel right to me does not justify the comments i made.

This private mix was very very good...Definalty felt it alot more than the kiss mix.

The Kiss mix was a bit of a let down compare to the previous one but it was still solid over all.
