saw this movie last week. terrific. it is about a 17 yr. old pregnant woman in colombia who quits her crappy job, runs out of money to help support her family & becomes a drug mule. she swallows 65 (i believe) sealed packets of pure heroin & smuggles them into the united states. very intense movie. my interest never wavered for a second. totally engrossing. terrific acting by the female lead. highly recomended...

yea! i heard about this movie actually on NPR. The lead actor was being interviewd about this movie and she is also an Columbian. I was really taken by the stories she talked about during the interview. When it comes on DVD i am sure going to rent it.************************************************

Just saw this the other night... loved it! Like said above, terrific acting, and it never lost my interest for a second!
Love movies like this that aren't of the norm. I'm usually not big on subtitles but it defeinitely added a more "real" element that added to the movie.
