Hey folks.. .AUdio is back with another wicked Aussie music ripper this week - check it out!


First up will be Australia's best tech house DJ Robbie Lowe with a funktastic live set from London's legendary Turnmills club from September 2005. This was one of the best nights out for 2005 for me and I'm pleased to have the killer grooves on display for you. The tracks in this set are trademark Robbie - absolutely awesome bass lines with a focus on tech house, but keeping it interesting and floor-focussed with acid and electro undertones. Turn it up!


Rocking us for the second half of the show is Sydney's Max Plowman with his latest promo mix. Max is gathering a name for himself playing at gigs like Musica, Sweetchilli and Stay In Touch alongside some of the world's finest DJs such as Chris Fortier. Max's sound for this mix is a bit more of a pumped up prog vibe and is a really fine return to quality for that sort of vibe.

I think Robbie's planning another trip to New York sometime towards the second half of 2006. We're both broke after shenanigans in the UK and Japan during Sept/Oct

His warm-up set for Digweed was awesome though. A fantastic night all round actually, but the set I'm featuring is a much more energetic approach since Diggers had asked that nobody went over 124bpm. I just wish I had that one recorded!

well, at 124 the energy is almost there. I don't really begin to feel the energy from the bpm until 125. Then I can groove.

Nah, Daniel doesn't have it as yet - but you'll be able to find it on www.inthemix.com.au/fm in the next week or so. Proton have been replaying the show due to the technical difficulties, but I'm not quite sure of the specific times I'm afraid.
