we had our first scan today & everything is cool (pleased to say )
what's quite scarey is that my son has started calling baby Beanz cos it just looks like a kidney bean at the moment, I hope that's not a bad omen. :?
"Son," he said without preamble, "never trust a man who doesn't drink because he's probably a self-righteous sort, a man who thinks he knows right from wrong all the time. Some of them are good men, but in the name of goodness, they cause most of the suffering in the world. They're the judges, the meddlers. And, son, never trust a man who drinks but refuses to get drunk. They're usually afraid of something deep down inside, either that they're a coward or a fool or mean and violent. You can't trust a man who's afraid of himself. But sometimes, son, you can trust a man who occasionally kneels before a toilet. The chances are that he is learning something about humility and his natural human foolishness, about how to survive himself. It's damned hard for a man to take himself too seriously when he's heaving his guts into a dirty toilet bowl."
Dhar 2 that's a bit fucking harsh isn't it? My sons only 10 & doesn't know who the hell beanz is. "kill it, kill "it I think you owe me an appology.
Congratulations again. Sounds wonderful...but the "baby beanz" thing has got to go..
at least for the sake of the child. Could end up scarred for life...should their paths ever meet.

Cool! My missus has only 8 weeks to go and its our first, she's going thru' the nesting stage at the moment, so wants the house perfect and ready for the new arrival. So getting a bit stressed, while i'm like no worries, I'll have it sorted
I'm just excited and can't wait, while she's stressing about how it will actually get out of her

Good luck, it is quite stressful 1st time round mind you it was 10 years ago when I did this so I'll probably be stressed myself.
Thanks for the kind words guys. I don't know how to post the scan picture sorry, you can't really see a great deal yet though but it is exciting.
