here's some more pictures for you guys...
this is the table or "alter" they built for garrick and i to do our bizzniss on
this is one of the guys Steve who captained this thing.
here's the table all finished and Hafid (the gracious host / promoter)
another shot of the finished table. the shelf on top was built for the cdj's and was only sitting atop the whole table. you could slide it around, or pull it closer to you.

so the story behind the virgin mary statue is this... while these guys spent 2 days building this table in their spare time after work, they were joking that whoever gets behind that table better know what the fuck they're doing. essentially naming the table "The Alter" guess the story became more like legend in a matter of hours and within an hour of that party starting some girl brought it in from her car wrapped in a paper bag. made for a good laugh early on in the night and we all figured it was like she was watching over us. and all the debauchery that proceeded. i have a couple more pictures where she's just chillin in the background. will find them and post later.
