"impeached" just means he was accused/charged, which i believe he was.
yes he was impeached by one house, the other house aquitted him.the supreme court upheld the one impeachment but federal law requires both houses with court backing.

I can't understand all the resentment Bush generates . Sure the guys a dumbass and not a thinker . But thinkers get nothing done . He's a do'er and attempting to resolve things . Clinton had 8 wasted years and in 20 years time ppl will only remember him for cigars or a saxaphone ( most powerful guy on the planet for 8 years ... what a legacy) .There are people around bush who can do the thinking for him but he's the one putting his balls on the line making the decisions . Most presidents america have had wanted to protect their presidency , reputation and bank balance . At least Bush thinks he's trying to protect the world no matter what the cost . Just a shame he's not much good at it .

cant we just attack his actual record. like his complete infringement on civil liberties. his lack of capacity to tell his cabinet NO. his unaccountability. his gaffs are funny, but innocent. look at some of the other ppl who fucked and meant to do it b4 they got caught (clinton, kennedy, etc) we will never get progressing if we dont attack what matters and figure out how to fix it. this 2 party system in america is hurting us so much more than anything else. b/c it draws our way vs your way ideologies that have left where we have been for the last 18 years. reagan did and OK job b/c he peacefully played on other countries detriments and remiained civil, but it went downhill when bush 1 came around and fucked up a ton then clinton attacked. its our generation that needs to think a bit differently, market our own views in an intelligent way, and force a change. not the politicians our parents embedded in the system. a shake is in order and we need to stop hating, start thinking, and look at the entire frame of the picture, not just the part we hate or like.

Debating and compromising normaly results in watered down legislation that has no effect .Parliment and Congress are there to prevent knee jerk reaction but as has been the case they often prove a stumbling block to achievement . Some serious shit is wrong with the world today from gangs of youths terrorising neighbourhoods to ideological missfits destroying fammilies in the name of their god . You can't talk to ppl who don't listen .
