Hey again i just wanted to know what u are supposed to do with cue files. i have download them and some sfv and nfo files for Carl Craig fabric cd but i am not sure what i am supposed to do with thses files. how do u open them. i know this prob sounds like a stupid qestion but u learn something new everyday right
This has nothing to do with ms. i have downloaded thses cue files etc through somewhere else. i looked through the FAQ but could not find anything bout it. maybe i did't look hard enough.
there was once a thread that told you exactly how to set up a cuesheet for burning purposes, I had it bookmarked as 4408 under the old forums, but it seems to have disappeared with the changeover. anyone know where it disappeared to or might be able to repost on how to do it?

Ok i read it it made little sense to me, my guess is that u use cue sheets to break up long mixes. for example if u have a 1 hour mix and the tracks are not labeled u break down the tracks to individual tracks using cue file and these files get thier proper names, just like a cd u buy from a shop. Am i correct? also i need to use nero to do this am i correct? Sorry to be a pain in the ass but it would be good to know what tracks i am listening to instead of one long continous mix. thanks for any help guy's and gals
you are right.... also it will enter the file names into the songs only if you enter them into the cue sheets prior to burning, moreover those names are displayed only if your cd player can read and display song names

i know but if i copy those files from my cd that has been burnt onto my pod that would work as well, won't it? so then it would look like a cd on my pod with the tracks broken up. also i could save the files onto my hard drive and put it into a folder. eg digweed kiss fm 20/11/2004 folder. then all the music from that hour has been burnt to seperate tracks and then i copy that folder to my pod. Hope i make sense.
Anyway i will give it a go 2moz sometme and if it works iwill let ya know and if it does'nt i let ya know aswell. Thanks for your ime encryption i keep ya in touch with what i am trying to do with it all that is if i don't make sense to ya.
