yeah, I had the same probem each time I surfed for new porno sites using yahoo. when using google it's much safer - instead of re-installing my PC every week I do it every month as no adaware helps me out.

I'm not talking about downloading livesets or anything from HYBRIDIZED.ORG. I have also downloaded alot from there too. But while I was surfing around, checking other links and looking for music (not sex, I'm married and get plenty), I came across a couple sites which my virus scan software warned me was likely to have something bad in it. I have a little 'red eye' that is on the bottom tool bar in this case to warn me of a potential threat. I mentioned a couple of those sites up the thread. I also noticed alot of ads and garbage bouncing around on these sites, and one of them wants you to download their program to run there music. One of those is the site which sells 'NETPUMPER' software, and another one called 'PLUGIN'. I downloaded the 'plugin', or at least started it and maybe stopped, thinking it a bad idea. Well I never went to the 'hybridized.org' site that night, but I did go to 'bijoubreaks.com' which looks like a good site. While at 'bijoubreaks' I had an 'ERROR - WANT TO DEBUT' window pop up. I clicked NO, and left the site. An hour later, I checked me firewall to see whats happening there; I have had two IP addresses making attempts to get into various ports for weeks now. But an hour later, 10 new IP addresses started all at the same time making attempts to get into various ports on my PC. I have a router and good firewall. The router has been compromised, and the firewall seems to be working, but a couple trojans have come in, but were cleaned out a couple weeks before all this attempt activity started. I have maybe 10 times the amount of attempts being made because I surfed some sorry music sites. HYBRIDIZED.ORG is listed in the attempt activity as trying to ping, or scan into my PC through backdoor ports while I'm online. I believe the moderators/admin people at their site don't know it is happening, so I hope ESEF will make them aware and they can look for the potential problem. I pasted 3 minutes of attempt activity above to show you how much this thing is happening and that you can see the domain 'hybridized.org' is named. I pinged the IP address back last night, and the address is located in Dallas TX.

you have a virus. get it fixed.

it has nothing to do with them the ips are getting masked with sites you've been to. here's a tip don't install something called "plugin". format your harddrive and don't "surf" the internet anymore.

Securse sources told me that Hybridized.org is connected to Al Quida! They are infecting computers with the BinLaden Chemical virus... Other sites are used with the same purpose too such as: PreTeenSex.com This last website infected the personal computers of lots of superstars such as Gregory Zbush and Miguel Jegzon mediafax anounces.

yep, the most general solution to your problem would be to format and do a clean installation of windows. Some of the worst spyware/adware/virus stuff cannot be deleted efficiently from the system ...

as far as the bookmarks, I think you can import them in Firefox - that should be the least of your problems.

Also, very strange thing. For a couple days, the mass of attack events have almost stopped. I haven't done anything different. I don't know if they got into my machine, and don't need to keep hitting every port, or if where they went.

I think the hits dropped to about 5 an hour, and HYBRIDIZED.ORG is not there at all anymore.

Now today, I'm still getting many hits from the 2-3 ip addresses which had been trying to get in for a good month now. I really don't know if they had made it into my machine or not. I don't think they have, but I have seen alot of activity in my internet stream which I can monitor through the firewall program. I installed a new program to help me with some of this problem. For me reformat the harddrive is a huge time buster, and hope I don't need to do it at all. I know the trojans are kept out at this point. I see many are hitting my firewall. A virus is there only if it is completely hidden from my view.

I will try Mozilla as was suggested, but I have so many bookmarks in IE, I hate to make the change.

Don't worry about losing any bookmarks or settings for that matter, when you install and start mozilla/firefox it will import your settings and bookmarks from IE.

But all I know is I am now having 2 separate IP Addresses contiually scanning my ports trying to finds an open backdoor in. I have a firewall and can view the 'events' as they happen. I can see the IP addresses and sometimes domain names. I see the ports attacked and what program they may have used to enter. Sometimes the firewall informs me that a 'trojan' was scanned against the port, but was blocked by the firewall.

Why? Maybe they do this through some software program hackers buy which does it for them, for the purpose of obtaining any person information, like SS#, or passwords to bankaccouts or even credit card #'s, so that they can steal an identity and use the identity or stolen information to steal from you and me. IDENTITY THEFT is the largest crime known to man, in the world, today. That is a fact, and by the way, MICROSOFT UPDATE has new security patches if anyone wants to keep updated with the latest.

But what can I do.

I have been checking my firewall often, and ... I could not believe it. One of the two IP addresses which has been hitting my firewall all the time for 2-3 weeks was ... the S.O.B. was in. He found an open port and the traffic monitor said our computers were communicating. Not what I wanted to here. I really don't think this is about a virus. I think he was looking around for something.

I traced his IP address, and the 'whois' had no info on him.

Then an hour later the other IP address had found a way in. Strange coincidence they both did it so close together.

My machine didn't change in anyway. After I traced the IP's, they go away. I think they can tell I'm pinging their machine.

Next surprise. I have blocked his IP in my firewall, but he still made it in thru an open port. So I blocked the open port. S.O.B still came in again two more times. Finally, I clicked off the internet to see what would happen. I have DSL so it stays ON. I watched a few minutes they checked again, and he was there again. So I just unplugged the cable from the computer.

As of now, there isn't any seen activity from these two unwanted IP addresses. Maybe they sleep! It is late.

By the way, the other 6-8 IP addresses which all stopped hitting my firewall, still haven't come back ... to my knowledge. Including 'hybridized.org. Those have all stopped, and I'm not sure why.
