    A new dawn

So its like this, Ariel Sharon (a founder of the Likud Party) has left the likud to set up a new party which tentitively is called 'National Responsibilty'. New election are being called for March 06 - seven months early.

Sharon his positioning his part in the centre - whilst the new Labour leader (Amir Peretz) is moving Labour further to the left. In a poll today in Haaretz, Sharon would get 37% whilst Peretz would get 22%.

Interesting times lie ahead here - I just love the whole election thing.

    Re: A new dawn

this makes a huge wave in international politics as well, since a ""non-favorable"" candidate for the west now has a better chance of coming to power, which might have good or bad consequences given the curent world, and in particular, middle east situations, moreso with any further violence and future incursion by the islamic nations, Iran firstly. gonna be cool to see this play out.
