    Merry Christmas -- or else

    Here's the gist:

Evangelical Christian pastor Jerry Falwell has a message for Americans when it comes to celebrating Christmas this year: You're either with us, or you're against us.

Falwell has put the power of his 24,000-member congregation behind the "Friend or Foe Christmas Campaign," an effort led by the conservative legal organization Liberty Counsel. The group promises to file suit against anyone who spreads what it sees as misinformation about how Christmas can be celebrated in schools and public spaces.
I think it's silly that anyone would ever get offended by being wished a Merry Christmas rather than Happy Holidays, Happy Hannukah, or whatever, but this takes it to a whole different level in the other direction. Come the fuck on.

Right concept but typical false-doctrine approach to defending God.
Greatly rejoicing in following God as a freedom not a choice.

just saw this thread, and had to comment on current state of affairs

EVERY where I go I say Merry Christmas in reply to cashiers that say Happy holidays. It's so nice to hear the happy response from people that say it back, almost as if it was so unexpected for them to hear someone actually say those two words, lol.

I REFUSE TO SAY HAPPY HOLIDAYS

That's not something you hear much in England - guess it's a bit of an Americanism?

I'm gonna make a point of head-butting anyone who says such a thing in my direction then hopefully it won't catch on

i say Happy Christmas most of the times altho i use Happy Holidays too. actually in Greece apart from our birthdays, we have our name days as well and December is full of them(my name day is in December)!!! so Happy Holidays would include Xmas, New Years eve/day and the of course name days!!!

Definitely before, but strangely enough it's easier to admit here.

Let's face it Christmas is for kids. Sounds like a bunch of BS to me.
