for us nerds re: the hawaiian land collapse and lava eruption

cool little site about the recent cliff collaspe and lava building that occurred in hawaii.

a few acres of hawaii fell into the pacific leaving a hole in the cliffside which spewed forth a lava spout which in turn formed a new land mass and its still going.

yeah im a dork, i love this shit.

GEOGRAPHY IN ACTION. cool to see this IMHO. im still waiting to see the san andreas fault fall. gonna be scary but amazing when it does happen. some scientists say that it could raise the sea level a few feet when it does. it would cover most of long island and NYC if it did.

Yao, do you ever watch "Megastructures" on National Geographic channel?

I can't get enough of that show. Extreme Engineering is another good one.

It never ceases to amaze me how cool nature is. I mean granted it must be scary as hell for anyone in the area cause volcanic eruptions are no joke (explosions are measured in megatons, so are nukes, get the similarity?).

What would Hawaii would look in 1 million years (granted we don't blow it up first )?

They drink gasoline and piss fire, The spit bullets and shit bombs, and will swim across the ocean with a knife in their teeth just for the chance to carve up those that threaten their homeland.

Yeah, as well as extreme machines. It's insane what humans can build these days man, or for that matter, what they've already built! Some older structures have been made even before I was born and are still standing tall and strong.
