They probably wipe till they feel the friction of the paper, then wipe a few times more to be sure?

I've sat on this thread for several minutes and just keep drawing a blank.

How do blind people wipe their ass?

            Very, very carefully I guess.

It's easy Blind people make up for their loss of sight by getting in touch with other senses .. If the paper feels heavier after they have wiped they need to wipe again . I'm half deaf and i make up for this dissability by not listening to shit music ..

                      Re: Blind folk

Although not blind, I did have a situation once that provides me with some experience in this regard. The bathroom in my office has motion sensing lights -- you walk in, the light turns on and stays on as long as there's someone in there.

Anyhoo, I'm in there one afternoon, takin' care of business. I've been known to take my time in there: sometimes I'll do some reading, sometimes I'll play a game on my phone, whatever. It's a nice respite from the working day, and I like to take advantage of it. Evidently I was in there for a bit longer than normal. Of course, once you're in the stall, the motion sensor can no longer tell you're there, so the sensor, not sensing anyone in the room, turned off the light.

So now I'm sitting there, pants at my ankles, in the dark, asking myself how I was going to deal with this unfortunate turn of events. I figured I had a few options. I could wrap things up in the dark and run the risk of not wiping completely. I could wait until someone else came into the room and triggered the switch, but that would result in an awkward moment when my coworker realized that someone had been taking a shit in the dark. The final option, waddling out of the stall to trigger the motion detector, was not an option at all, because it would be beyond awkward if someone else were to come into the bathroom with me naked from the waist down, hunched over in the middle of the room, waving my arms like a madman. I opted for the first option.

The answer is that you wipe, wipe again, and then wipe yet again. Didn't feel like anything came off last time? Try it from a different angle. Keep on wipin' till you're positive that your ass is as dry as King Tut's. That was my technique, and it worked just fine for me.

im in the boat of thinking they wipe a lot then give it a good old paperless wipe with the finger and take a wiff.

I don't know about this. I don't care how many times you wipe, it's still an asshole and if you stick your finger in it just after taking a shit, your finger is still going to smell like an asshole. FFS, these people are blind and probably have a heightened sense of smell -- I think their asses are going to smell like shit to them no matter what. Maybe RIGHT out of the shower, their asses smell fantastic, but the moment one fart passes through the cheeks, they're probably right back to smelling like assholes again.

                            Jeez, man, think a little...
