Gamer quality video card for Dell Dimension 8400?

Any suggestions for a gamer quality video card that works with a Dell Dimension 8400? I recently bought this for my bro:

I just done up my PC did alot searching for graph cards before i picked the one i wanted ( unfortunately it fucked up before i even got to use it but i am waiting for it returned this isn't to say it's XFX's fault BTW could of been anything that went wrong it's totaly new system ) Anyhows to cut a long story short XFX 's Geforce 6600's tend to be the best out there for mid range prices .Performs better than most of the 6800's for less money . Find out whether he needs a PCI express card or AGP ( PCI ) otherwise u'll be making same mistake again . That card in pic was AGP . Also more games are supporting NVIDIA chips than ATI so i would def go for a geforce chipset.

^ what he said. for a moderately cheap card the 6600 is good. just don't get an ATI.

i just got my xfx 6600GT 2 days back and its sweet as hell .... i used to have a ATI radeon 9600 pro but the card's fan was busted hence the switch and the card was less than a year old
