Could someone please explain to me when and how it ever became acceptable to put giant inflatable figures on your lawn? They seem to be friggin' everywhere this holiday season, and lately they've even popped up on the lawns of friends of mine that I used to think had good taste.
I cannot think of anything more tacky. Anyone want to defend this?
I was out in a neighborhood full of 1 and 2 million dollar homes -- and they still had these ridiculous things in front of them. A $75,000 landscaping job wrecked because they thought the look wasn't complete without Frosty the Snowman thrown into the mix...
To be honnest i find almost all christmas decorations tacky but .BUT. Goverments and workplaces are trying to irradicate the tradition of christmass completely . It is probably the happiest time of year for everyone, even anti-religeuos ppl like myself .
I prefer to see these tasteless effigies as symbols of defiance to the goverement and other politicaly correct establishments who want to errase all coulture and tradition .
So when i see these things i tend to say in my mind you f&!king tell em .And it brings a smile to my face

I've got no problem with Christmas decorations generally. These just happen to look like shit.
