The visual aspect was almost as great as the music. I feel a bit bad for the folks that were on the floor -- they did a bunch of stuff with the stage itself that you could really only see if you were up a little bit. Tracing the outline with chasing lights, all timed to the music, etc -- amazing.

As long as they keep touring, I'll keep going. Every time I've seen them has been better than the last.

i would agree that its hard to take in the whole show in while on the floor. i've seen the videos/dvd's they have made of their concerts and watching that footage gives me an entirely new experience and was very different from the show i remember.

yes, for the popmart tour oakie was the opener. just think that he actually did the whole us tour + more dates without even drawing much attention to himself. of course this was way before perfecto.

actually, it was Kanye West. Seems like an odd guy to have opening for U2, but he was actually pretty good. You don't often see hip-hop acts that have people playing cellos and violins on stage with him. I'm not really a big Kanye West fan, and I think he's a bit of a tool as a person, but he really was pretty good to see live.

I kinda like his music to be honest, its quite catchy, and it doesn't always sound the same. He's versatile, compared to say M in M, where each song sounds the same. Good radio music.
