Weekend is getting more cultural...yesterday I ended up analysing 2 poems by T.S. Eliot. in a lounge bar with a nice glass of La Chouffe and my friends there...one of our teachers also teaches philosophy, and he invited us for it. I'm better at it than I thought, but at the same time worse too, haha.

I can guarantee you a few things:

1) I'll never be caught in a bar like that
2) Even if some chick forced me in there, there would NOT be wine and/or poetry in front of me
3) None of my teachers would ever invite me to do something like that.

A lounge bar ain't that bad, and you might be suprised what poetry can do to the women in you vicinity. And I'm happy to have teachers that are cool and not just restrict themselves to the teacher-student relationship: they can teach you so much more outside the classroom dude, and they're human after all

I'll just never turn into such an overpretentious übercultural prick that acts as if he's the keeper of wisdom himself though. I hate those ignorant fucks.

monopoly

I actually played monopoly against a few friends last night. it was the first time I'd played in years... and I won!

I kicked ass. my buddy had to sell all his houses and hotels to pay my shit up (and he even owned boardwalk+park place with hotels). by time he finally lost, he tried to sell the rest of his houses and hotels to pay me up but the bank didn't even have enough money to buy the houses back... I had it all

fun stuff. it's a shame the game had to last about 5 hours, though
