                Look for Ben Watt's cd, formely of Lazy Dog & Everything But the Girl "Buzz'N'Fly Volume 1"... Hes got a great deep house/urban sound going... The best of this genre I've heard this year...

                From an Irish perspective you cannot beat Greg'n'Shane, there label is Fish Go Deep.. they have been mixing it deep style going on 20 years in Cork... A class act... bodytonic.com was hosting one on thier sets a while ago...

                Others include Jay Hannan, David Alvarado, Francois K, Julis Papp, Mark Farina...

                Agreed on the previous comment on the vocal side of Deep House, I find it gets boring very quickly...

                On the plus side chicks love it.. Always get a nice selection on a Deep House night.... Giggity, giggity, giggity!

                    I'll second that Buzzin Fly cd...really good deep house. Also check out last year's Jay-J and Miguel Migs "In The House", absolutely superb compilation (Jay-J's also got a newer cd called Loveslap 3, but I haven't heard it yet), and lastly Jay Hannan's got a new cd out called Underdog that recently came out.

                        Re:: Deep House?

                        I honestly can't belive that a thread was made about Deep House amd NO ONE mentions the real Deep House DJ's.

                        1) Frankie Knuckles
                        2) David Morales
                        3) Frankie Feliciano
                        4) Kerri Chandle
                        5) Lil Louis
                        6) The Legend himself Tony Humphries

                        This is true Deep House!!

                          Could you possibly have added more Jersey style to that list? That's pretty damn close to the dj lineup at the legendary Zanzibar!

                              I absolutely do. It's unfortunate how little people actually realize that Jersey has contributed to the development of house music and the club scene. There's so much focus on the Paradise Garage and the Loft, that places like Zanzibar hardly get mentioned or are remembered any more, but those Jersey clubs were breaking as many records and artists as the NY clubs were.
