Ok, ok, ok..shoot me already. As many of you know it was my birthday this past weekend and needless to say I got a little...well...I just didn't have the mindset to get the sets updated. Whereas that would normally be a bad thing (for you guys anyway, I had looooooads of fun! ) it proved for us all to be more than worth the wait.

First up comes the STUNNING December promo from none other than Mr. Steve James. It's never a shock to hear a blinding mix from Mr. James and this one fills the ears like an overstuffed Q-tip. Burn this one and hand it out to the friends you forgot to buy Christmas presents for...they'll love you forever! Thanks Steve-o, we love you long time.

Next is another [ms] exclusive. We all remember that set that came out at the beginning of 2004 that all but put this guy on the map...I still listen to the thing myself! Chris Micali was kind enough to put together a jaw-dropping 75 minute mix that goes places you haven't heard for quite some time. Jumpin' Johosaphat this thing gets pretty dark! Many, many, many thanks to Chris...we know you're super busy these days, but thanks a million for thinking of us!

wow i just previewed steves new ms set (will give it a "proper" listen tonight)...incredible set.

...man this guy is so underated its not even funny. i saw him play a few weeks back in st. pete, fla...and he blew me away. i definatly see great things happening for him.

Jibbys set is excellent...the programming is perfect. Totally eases you in then it really takes off in the second half.

That last tune is sooo deep and emotional it just left me craving more...

Listened to the micali set on way to work this morning - starts off different to what I was expecting, more housier maybe, but finishes off superbly, some great driving tunes in there.

Listened to steve james' set at lunchtime - first time I've heard him - don't think this is my sound, bit too 'laidback' for me

thx for all the nice words people. a little info on my set:

i mixed this promo exactly 3 weeks after garrick and i played in Pensacola. it was meant to be an exclusive promo for my new found friends. after it got the ear of approval signal i unleashed it into the wild. those guys up there really love their progressive music so i'm sorry if this one is a bit 'lighter' than what you've heard from me in the past. i was aiming for a specific sound and imo accomplished it. yes greg, it is a bit laid back compared to my normal sound. this set was mixed back in November so if its "trancey" i apologize for lying to everyone saying there's no trance on my HD. haha. well its at least true now in January 2006. anyway, glad everyone is enjoying this cos i had a fun time mixing it.

let the beats continue!

Also i would like to thank Steve for beinging so kind for making this mix for the Pensacola peeps. Like i said Steve they fuckin love it. just like i said on the phone " u should have made this mix 3hrs long".. cause this shit makes u want more.. Can we please have more...lol
