    Broken Flowers

i checked back about 8 pages and didnt find this...

so i really liked this film. someone on imdb described it as a "visual poem" which i found true to an extent. there's a full frontal shot of alexis dziena, yum. and besides this the story got really interesting...

until the end. its almost like the credits came on after the climax. like an ending to a weekly show. WTF!!!!!!

was really into this and it ended. imo, with no conclusion.

El Pres Highsteppa, can you plz make sense of this one to me?

was giving the movie a strong rating of about 4.5 / 5 til the end. they fuckin killed it.

I think that was the ending of the movie, you dont know if he really has a son or not, it could have been that his girlfriend was the one who sent him the mail, and yet somehow I think deep inside he wishes that he had a son, and was looking for someone cuz he was lonely deep inside. The style of the movie was to let the audience try to analyze it but it defentely doesnt give you any answers... All in all a good movie and yeah love the frontal ha ha ha

I just finished watching this. I really liked it. and the chick's full frontal.

      *spoilers below. probably*

I agree with chemical. the ending made it out to be that he's hopelessly searching for his son, if he has one, and will turn to every lone boy that he finds in hopes that he can find someone to relate to. i think the movie was trying to show the struggle of him trying to relate to/bond with someone close to him and get rid of the lonely, empty feeling he had inside of him, instead of showing him actually find his son. it seemed that the movie wasn't about him actually having a son, but him yearning to have a son will be stuck in his head just because he gave it a serious thought

great movie, but I'm giving it 4/5 pickles because i'm still a bit confused.

just found saw that the dude in the car at the very of the movie that has the staredown is bill murray's son in real life.

also, i'm watching some of the special features and the director of the movie just said this quote:
"I feel it's about yearning for something that you're missing, and not necessarily being able to define what it is you're missing, you know? that's sort of what the film's about... it's not real good for a synopsis.

I don't want people to feel despair or tragic at the end, I also don't want them to feel like it's a light and romantic thing either."

really liked this one ... i think the end fits it ... the neighbor is hillarious , although i feel bill murray is doing the same role as he did on translation
