i saw a special on the travel channel about this hotel a couple of years ago. that restraunt on the lower level that opens to the coral reef of the ocean kicks ass. the other thing that always bugged me about this hotel is the landing pad of a tennis court way up in the air. how many tennis balls have been lost off that thing. but then again if you are spending up to 10 grand a night on a hotel the cost of a couple of tennis balls is nothing.

Thats nuthin... check out what dubai has under construction if not completed already.... Also the crown prince who requestioned all of it croaked today.

me too. the craziest thing i saw on there was these elscaltor things that have streams of water all shooting in different arcs all over the room. then beaming light through it like fiberoptic cables.. crazy

Wow! Very beautiful. I read a peice on Yahoo about posh hotels. One was made of all ice and there's one that's underwater.

Their goal is the because a tourism hotspot so that have some means of sustaining their economy when the oil runs out. This hotel along with those man made islands. Petty ambitions plans, we'll see if it works.
