because they break down too much. plus my girlfriend is a banquet captain and the ford dealership is there twice a month and she always serves them, and the manager told her the only fords worth buying (from a reliability standpoint) are mustangs and focuses.

i dont know from personal experience but i have two family members that have old f150s running in excellent condition and ive done a lot of research on them never heard reliability wasnt good. i agree on the focuses tho ive read a lot of positive information regarding them, i dont like mustangs so i could care less.

she is a manager of the banquet department of a hotel, but not the manager, like an assistant manager which in banquet world is called a "captain" for some reason

i generally can't stand american cars, but when it comes to trucks, Ford is leading the pack at the moment. Ford used to suck big time, i'll admit. Their new F150's are the best trucks on the market (american.) They rebuilt that thing from the ground up, and of all the trucks i've owned, and driven (which is a lot) this is by far the best one to date.

it LOVES gas too. I still get the same mileage as my dad's Tundra tho.

my only complaint is that they don't offer a high end audio system. It came with a 6disc in dash changer, but the speakers aren't really all that. I guess farmers don't need a thousand watts, and I don't either, but i'f i'm dropping almost 40k on an truck, id like to be able to crank it up without it farting. Other than that, easily the best truck i've owned.
