I will never ever in my life agree with the position that the citizens of a country should be allowed to bear arms. Too many screwed up minds among us for that. I do make the exception though in case of internal struggles and anarchy...like in many African or South American countries where there is a high risk of getting attacked/kidnapped/abused/killed by renegades, rebellious groups or repressive governments.

Most European countries and the US do not fit that profile.

and this made sense back in the 1700s when there were no police forces or established military troops. today, its just an excuse for trigger happy nutjobs to have 800 guns in their house. not all constitutional rights enacted 300 years ago are appropriate for the 21st century.

its a personal freedom. dont knock it guys. neither of you live in america, yet you have strong opinions against our freedoms. my dad is the most grounded vietnam vet i know. he's all about personal safety and yes he has at least 10 guns in his house. all of which ive shot. just because you dont agree with "the right to bear arms" doesnt mean its wrong.

take the populations of England, Japan, Germany, and Australia...add them up, and you get roughly the population of the United States.

total gun homicides last year in those 4 countries: 503*
total gun homicides last year in the US: 11,789

*germany had the bulk at 373, i could have used other countries with less.


the difference between the US and those countries...they have gun laws. I'm sure the extra 11,000 people who die a year in the US appreciated the second amendment.

no im not racist, but statistics show more black teens and black 20-somethings commit a hell of a lot more murders than that fat guy and his buddies in that video.
yes, bottom line is 11,000 and thats sick. im ashamed to live in a society that is killing itself over a pair of shoes or a nickle bag or a wrong look in the lunch room.

i stand firm on my beliefs tho, if you want to own a gun and go about it legally, why the fuck not!

I think every other nation should enforce a drinking age at 21. it made sense in the 1700s to allow people under 21 to drink, but today it's just an excuse for drunken children to run amuck.
