Belated Happy New Year to you all,
Hope you all had as twisted a NYE as those of us who made the journey down to deepest, darkest Streatham. Twisted Melon's first NYE party was a blinder and with our next party less than 4 weeks away, you have just enough time to recharge your batteries and collect your next pay cheque. We're looking forward to kicking off 2006 with another customary instalment of Melon madness and things could get a little out of hand.
We've wanted to book our headliners for a while and finally our time has come to welcome Hybrid, one of the world's most highly regarded live/djing duos, on Saturday 4th February. The Distinctive Records artists will be bringing their brand of dirty house and beaks to Twisted Melon's main room for a 3 hour set, following in the footsteps of, amongst others, Nick Warren, Anthony Pappa, Phil K and Jonathan Lisle.
Twisted Melon (Jay Grant and Warren Mooney) head the home team line up in the main room, laying down the deep and dirty house sound that has become the night's trademark. They'll be ably assisted by previous guest and good friend, Chris Salt of Silver Planet, hot on the heels of his Future House mix compilation on Kickin Records.
Room two sees Ben Clarke and Francis Mallinson continue their popular residency with a tough and funky mix of tech house in another back to back set with regular guest DJ, Steve Saw. Other guests will be confirmed before the night so look out for further updates.
Limited ?8 advance tickets are available from
