After 8 weeks of nappy changing and bottle feeding at all hours of the night I feel I`ve aged 10 years man. (on a feed right now as it happens)
Still, I`m sure I can muster up some energy in 11 weeks time sir.
Its obvious....those handlebars are showing just how you have aged! I remember those couple of crazy days, nice to see some mustache action is still around. Happy to hear the baby is teating you good
This was not meant to be another I hate electro thread. I don't hate electro, I am just bored with last years sound. As sure as eggs is eggs I guarantee this sound will fall out of favour with both mainstream and others. I'd rather John and Sasha stick to what they do best, there is still massive scope to explore several genres there.
hypoluxxa is spot on.

Anyway does anyone have parts 1 and 2 of the WMC pawn shop broadcast by Digweed on August 7th and 14th on Kiss.
I with you man...I have been bored with digweeds kiss show for quite a long time now...so I dont even bother dl anymore....Basically u just have to be paitient and be able to find Jems like Digweed Dubai...digweed still brings it hard in the clubs...I just wish he had a show were the would play peak time material.....Now that would be the ultimate.
I think Digweed is ignoring us without any new Kiss 100 sets the last couple of weeks. Btw, that Pawn Shop set is great. I still listen to it and it's almost a year old.
What's funny is that I was at the Pawn Shop for his set last year. At the time, me and my group thought it was a pretty bad night. But that was more because the opener never showed (Luke Fair), and instead Jimmy Van M played, and played his worst set. EVAR. I've seen Van M open for diggers before, and usually, it's pretty good, but this was horrible. On top of that, the crowd there was atrocious. It wasn't until later that the crowd got slightly better (less frat like), and Digger's FINALLY went on around 1 or 2 am. It's amazing how the atmosphere and opener can set the tone for a party nite.
But now, listening to the set later.... Digger's set was actually pretty good, if not great. Thanks for reminding me to get the rest.
Heh... I haven't listened or d/led any of the Kiss 100 sets since like September. I'm totally hooked on obtaining Desyn's sets.... as well as listening to Moshic (new album coming out soon!)
disagreed. if after 1 year you still go to clubs expecting sasha to play the music he hasn't been playing for 1 year, you guys need to explore different DJs.
people have been complaining about the kiss show for awhile now. even back when he was still playing strictly prog.
look at the new releases on juno and then look at his tracklisting for the show. the point of the radio show isnt to take you on some stupid drugged out journey like so many of you are looking for. it's to keep peoeple up to date with current sounds and expose them producers and tracks that people may seek out afterwards. so please enough with this, oh i need to be taken on a mystical magical musical journey. put the pills down kids.

i disagree....
we aint asking for a drugged out journey dude! I am asking for quality kick ass sounding tunes...
imo digweed plays bad sounding tunes on his show...u would actually need drugs for the tunes on his radio show to sound good.
now digweed live is a different story, although he is nowhere near what he once was live. he definaly has fallen some...
well lets agree to disagree shall we. i happen to like a lot of the get physical/playhouse/fine/etc tracks that he features at times without using any drugs.
i do know the feeling of being in a certain mood where you have an idea in your head of the type of sound your looking for, but the dj is going in a different direction. the last time i saw hernan was that way. i saw hernan back in '01 and he layed it down deep dark and tribally. it was back when he was touring with oakenfold when he was promoting the south america cd and he was amazing. how when i hear him play, it's NOTHING like the old hernan.
so heres my question.
why does hernan get a free pass here? ESPECIALLY from all you 'dark prog' lovers on here. if you've been following him as long as i have, you know for sure where hes at now is NOT where he once was. i still think that south america cd is the shit. listen to that disc, then check out renaissance 2. report back to me with your findings.
I've actually listened to more sets from the Kiss100 shows this year than last. 05 rather than 04.
The only problem I have with them is they are either really great at the end or really great at the beginning, there isn't a whole lot of consistancy in the sets. I've heard maybe one or two that have been great the whole way through. But I am into the new elektro'ey sound. But I do think it does tend to grind into your system after a while. All those damn fart sounds!!!!!!!!!
