    ipod question

Hey all had my ipod for a while now but just updated my itunes. Anyway in the new i tunesu can make folders and in those folders add your playlists. for example Digweed kiss fm mixes 2006 would be the folder and then u would include all the sets from 2006 sets in playlists in that folder. hope u guys know what i mean. anyway it's a great idea cause if u have 300 plus playlist's u need to do too much scrolling down to find the playlist u want. anyway my question is this. how do u bring up those folders on the ipod itself. i have made thses folders but when i check my ipod all i c is the playlist. any help would be appreciated. thanks alot. oh and i have the 5 generation ipod the one before the video ipod came out and it's 40 gig with the click wheel.

    Re: ipod question

As far as I know, the playlist folders are only available for playlist organization in iTunes and not on the iPod itself. I have had 3 different iPods and on all 3 the playlist folders that I made in iTunes have never showed up on the iPod. Being able to see the folders on the iPod would be handy though.

that is something I have wanted for awhile, but alas I do not think it is possible. However, maybe the latest itunes is different... I'll check but it doesn't look good
