    The Orb

    any other massive Orb fans out there? listening to Orbus Terrarum for about the 1000th time this morning and it just never gets old for me. brought Pomme Fritz with me too. one of the few groups who i have made a point to collect the entire catalog of, although im not quite there yet.

    fave tracks? albums?

      weird, i listened to the orb this morning also. Its all about the blue room ep, and that album on kompakt is good also.

                  I faded with the Orb when Pomme Fritz came out. Though it and Orbus Terrarum were pretty poor.

                  But they've really come back, now that's the group is down to Paterson and Fehlmann.

                  Recently, Bicycles & Tricycles was excellent. Lots of good tracks, and it fits together as an album.

                  The latest, Okie Dokie..., is almost as good.

                  Adventures Beyond the Ultraworld is still the Led Zeppelin IV of electronic music. You have to own it!

                      I am a big orb fan. Have been since 97, I have most of there cds, just missing some singles and there live cd. But I have all there studio albums at least.
                      Common Sense is not Common at all.

                                      I love the orb but i havent listened to that many albums. One that i have been bumping lately is the new one on Kompact. Great album

                                          the new one is different from most of their stuff, fehlmann totally took over on a schaffel tip. and thats not necessarily a bad thing, i like either way
