    Re: The Orb

weird, I just listened to Orbus Terrarum on Saturday for the first time in a long time. I was thinking about the seconds song (Plateu is it? ) where at the beginning they say "and now folks for an old familiar favorite....simple little sentimental song..." and I realized how that has now become true for me. Pretty amazing album, by far my favorite, although I am a massive orb fan and own all there stuff that I could find (bought every single one of their cd's, and some LPs as well!).

        1. Mexicans/Latinos from the South bringing drugs and killings n' shit.
        2. African Americans cause mos def they are raging a race war and want to occupy America like how the plebs occupied Wall St.
        3. Iranians/Afghans/Any one of middle eastern origin to be quite frank, cause you know Islam...
        4. North Koreans/Chinese cause you know everything...

          Re: The Orb

I saw The Orb play live back in '91 or '92 and it was, without doubt, one of the definining experiences of my formative years. The first two albums were all-time classics... it all went horribly downhill after that ? lacklustre, uninspiring, mundane and lacking both ideas and vision. Pomme Fritz was embarrasing compared to the previous epics. I haven't gone near them since, preferring to remember Paterson & Co. for greatness not the run-of-the-mill pap that followed.

Adventures Beyond The Ultraworld and UF.Orb are all you need...

I'm surprised U.F.Orb hasn't been mentioned more. Incredible album. Live 93 was great, ultraworld obviously, orblivion i really liked, but took a while longer to get into. Everything after I thought was pretty weak, but I need to check out okie dokie. I love the orb.
