Oh please. If the team would have cut him, it would have been a business decision. People quit their jobs every day. It's a job. And, to be honest, the money is probably the best part of it. College ball is way different. He was taking 10 random urine tests per month. The NFL dictates every single aspect of your life. Every second of time is planned and spoken for.

He served his time. He made people at UT rich. He took a beating for the fans.

And, quite honestly, he was right. People could care less about him.

Who cares when or why he did it. If he didnt play football, no one would give a shit that some guy quit his job to go find whatever it is he is looking for. You think they cant get another RB. Jesus, miami has never had a running game really anyway, so it will be nothing new if they dont have one this year. And when a team is ready to, "go in a different direction", do THEY give a fuck when they release players? I really doubt they take much into consideration other than wins and losses and saving money. You guys are just pissed that a guy with millions is out there buying up all your weed! lol

            Actually, shit, I am too!

This may be good for the dolphins. Now dickhead Wansteadt (or whatever) can get his shit together and sign Ogunleye and then next year pick up Edgerrin James. And Ricky can smoke a bowl for the fucking Dolphins. Maybe, just MAYBE, they'll win a fucking superbowl before I die!!!

Yeah but the dolphins always had a passing game to be feared, now we just hope to get a goddamn completion!

thats part of the reason why Barry Sanders remained reitred.. he couldnt go to another team. Detroit wouldnt let him.

i dont blame them.. if you dont want to play for a team, why sign a long term contract with them.. the bastards get all excited about the offer of millions of dollars, and then when they have a change of heart, what do they expect? the dolphins/lions to just say "okay, you can go play for whoever you want, despite the fact that we are losing probably our best player" stupid stuff. selfish arseholes. unprofessional behaviour in "professional" sports =

my dad watches college football and college basketball, and i can understand why. sports the way they should be, without all the drama of rich pricks playing only for themselves and not for their teams.

well that just goes to show you that he obviously didn't like miami. i'm not going to blame ricky and i'm not going to blame the dolphins, but obviously someone was not treating the other party with appropriate respect. chances are it was because ricky likes da greens too much.
