I'll give you a quarter for it.

You can't have manslaughter without laughter.

"Son," he said without preamble, "never trust a man who doesn't drink because he's probably a self-righteous sort, a man who thinks he knows right from wrong all the time. Some of them are good men, but in the name of goodness, they cause most of the suffering in the world. They're the judges, the meddlers. And, son, never trust a man who drinks but refuses to get drunk. They're usually afraid of something deep down inside, either that they're a coward or a fool or mean and violent. You can't trust a man who's afraid of himself. But sometimes, son, you can trust a man who occasionally kneels before a toilet. The chances are that he is learning something about humility and his natural human foolishness, about how to survive himself. It's damned hard for a man to take himself too seriously when he's heaving his guts into a dirty toilet bowl."

CZ I'll give it a look. I was going to buy a refurbished IBM ThinkPad I'm not sure if I want to continue being a slave to MicroSoft.

I'm a microsux slave for the most part, and I'll admit it. But the Titanium PowerBook is the best laptop being made right now. IBM is very good as well, but are as expensive, and in some cases even more expensive then Apple. I needed a lappy for school, and decided to go with Apple. This one will go a lot cheaper then a brand new one, and is in brand new condition.

Plus, if you ever start to miss windows because you want to play a game or something that isn't suppored on the Mac, I'll install Windows 98SE on it under Virtual PC 5 ( which is included) before I ship it off. WinXP runs slow under emulation even if you have a GiG of RAM so thats why I use 98. Or, if you have a copy of 98 or 2000 (which also runs well) then you can install it as soon as you get this lappy. Then you have the best of both worlds

The Z series is awesome. Quite expensive again, but very light and powerful for what it is. I've heard mixed feelings on Sony Laptops, and I've never owned one so I don't know. Kind of like Toshiba, I guess they used to be the best of the best for Customer Service and have since gone to shit.

But if your going with Sony, check out the TR Series line, very small, light and portable. I wish I could afford one.
